Tilapia Tacos

  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 sliced green pepper
  • 1 sliced jalapeno pepper
  • 4 tilapia filets
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 8 corn/flour tortillas
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 1 lime (in wedges)


  1. Add olive oil to a skillet over medium heat and cook onions until tender, add peppers and continue cooking until tender. Season tilapia filets with salt and pepper and add to skillet.
  2. Cook about 3 minutes per side or until the fish starts to flack. Warm tortillas according to the package.
  3. On each tortilla, serve a half a filet topped with the onion and pepper mix, and tomato. Garnish with a lime wedge. Enjoy!
How to warm tortillas

Microwave: Wrap 4 tortillas at a time in a damp paper towel and place on a microwave safe plate. Microwave for 30-45 seconds. Wrap in a clean, dry kitchen towel to keep warm.

OvenPreheat your oven to 350 degrees. Wrap 8 tortillas in aluminum foil and heat for 10-15 minutes or until warm.
